My family used to live in an apartment on Vista near Bayshore Hospital (as well as surrounded by nursing homes.) I had never personally felt anything odd, but one night my sisters were in a spooky mood and decided to try to catch some EVPs. One of my sisters Renee started asking questions. were four of us in the room at the time, and no one spoke apart from my sister asking the questions. Since that time I feel the place may be haunted.

After all people died in the hospital and the nursing homes nearby.

When I was a freshman in high school, we lived in a nice corner house on Oaks & Lynn Circle. The house was pretty old. At first we thought that was just the cause of the eerie feelings. We'd get there, but then things started to happen. I'd get the worst vibe from the bathroom in the master bathroom to the point where I couldn't come near it or even look in its direction. The cabinets in the kitchen would be opened during the night, and we'd hear creaking in the living room.
At night I could hear conversations coming from the kitchen and would think it was just my uncle and mom up late. When I got there no one was there. The creepy part was that I would still hear the whispering even though no one was there. The only part that felt unaffected by anything was the back room that was used as a laundry room and family room. I found out later that that part was added on later to the house.
