A house on Frio Street next to the park is haunted by several things. One was a six-foot shadow outside looking in daylight tapping on the front window behind the plant. He would move things all over the house, slam doors, shake the walls, run up and down the hall way, break light bulbs, open the kitchen cabinets, and even drop the curtains in the middle of night. The list goes on and on. I lived there for a year. My friends were there as well to see this. We had shadows that didn't match up in the house. The ag barn also had a few ghosts. There was a large man that was white then turned to shadow. Scared my ram and kept him from hitting me. He also pushed my ranger out of the mud. His hands are huge. These two sightings could be the same. This was 2016. Please be careful if you move into that house. Things are not what they seem to be.

I grew up in Portland and always remember it being a small town - quiet place. I lived in a house on Austin Street with my parents, and we somewhat survived that place. Before we moved in a school friend of mine lived there before with his family. Rumor was that the dad shot himself a few years before. When I lived there I experienced way too many incidents where doors would close and open on their own. Cabinets would slam in the kitchen, and you could feel a gush of cold wind at night and in the morning. I used to lie in bed at night, and my bed would shake as if someone was purposely trying to get me out of bed! I started getting really close to God, and my relationship with him grew strong. Every time I would read my bible in the back room the electricity would turn off out of nowhere! Then as I got older (from the age of sixteen to twenty) I started telling him off like ''it's not my fault you shot yourself'' and ''go to the light and ask for forgiveness'' it SLOWLY started to leave me alone but then started with other family members. I joined the military and left when I was twenty in 2004, and my parents left there in 2006. It even affected our dog and made him so mean!!

I have another story! I recently, as in this summer, moved in my boyfriend's home on Magnolia Place by the water. I can assure that place is haunted, and I think is more paranormal than anything. I have two little girls and we ALL started experiencing crazy things immediately! I could hear my oldest call my name down the hall in the back rooms even though she was in the kitchen and was NOT saying my name nor was my other child. My oldest was in the kitchen the day before. She was by the sink and heard heavy footsteps walk in the kitchen from side door, and NO ONE did. The girls refused to sleep in their rooms because it was too scary. They felt like someone was watching them when they were in there. At night my boyfriend and I would lie in his bed, and we could see a dark shadow floating in the living room. We would always hear people laughing as if they were running around the house and in the backyard, but not one person in sight!! I saw a black shadow in the reflection of the picture at night a few times in the hallway. We have a black lab, puppy, and she WILL not sleep anywhere else in that house at night other than under the bed. She will not go in the back rooms either.
I kept hearing whispering also. My children would act really funny sometimes too, which almost not like them. They would do things that I know was not how they were! For instance, my youngest out of nowhere would start to laugh at absolutely nothing hysterically. We would say ''what are you laughing at?'' and she would not answer until she stopped. When we would ask her again she would say ''I wasn't laughing. Why are you saying that?'' We have a few pictures that have ''orbs'' in them, and I mean a lot of them. That when I decided to move back home to San Antonio. Ever since then my girls and I have been ok, but my boyfriend still lives there, and he cannot stand being there! He said it was as if a strong dark negative presence was there, and he could feel that it affected him too. I tell him that he talks different when he's home almost like he doesn't care and is mean about everything. What do you think?.

Comment by anonymous: Haven't experienced don't know of anyone dying in water but my mother said a murder suicide happened on the next street over was a older lady also got killed by her husband then he killed himself there was also a child I believe he killed .??.
