Comment by anonymous: Portland is not what it seems y'all. I grew up here and have seen the girl at the park, the men at the ag barn, and the elderly couple by the school in their window. The shadow people on Blanco. I hit the shadow of a woman on 188. I'm now in Sinton, and I think the man followed me because my neighbors have seen him in my yard by the trucks then vanish. Anyone else see the shadows in Portland? Some info on them would be nice.

There is this older house on Daniel Moore St. I used to walk by and see the older couple who lived there all the time. A friend told me the house was haunted and he saw people looking out the windows at night when he walked by. I laughed at him and told him the people who lived there were always looking out but that did not mean it was haunted. He said that the couple that had lived there passed some time ago and the place was empty.

This freaked me out! I had been by the house dozens of times since the time it was supposed empty and wave at someone looking out the window. After that I avoided looking up at the place but still think I see someone out of the corner of my eye in the window. There is now a couple with a boy who looks around 10 or 12. I want to ask what they have seen but don't want to freak them out if they don't know. The dad may want to hurt me if I scare his kid, but I kind of feel like I should tell the man just in case.

I lived in a house on Colonial. And I was sitting watching TV and I saw a black figure out of the corner of my eye. If you have ever seen the cover if the book 'All The Lovely Bad Ones' it looked like that but thinner and a white face.
