I lived in Quanah a few years and my buddies and I drove out to Tolberts Crossing to test the haunting theory. Story we heard was a guy got his head cut off and if you cross the bridge turn and recross as you try to drive up the hill 'something' will pull your car back.
That happened to us and freaked us out. No booze just weird; it was about midnight.

If you go to the Tolberts Bridge outside of Quanah, Texas you will see the white lady. It is very haunted. Also the old mill by the cemetery is extremely haunted.

Comment by Marjorie: We went out there me and my friend and brother-in-law. We walked down the creek, and this white thing started coming up. The closer it got, it looked like a lady. I went to the car and waited the. I didn't look for her anymore. That was enough.

I went to Quanah a few weeks back to check on some of my elderly relatives who live there. I went to sit on the front porch to drink my coffee one evening just before dark. I had just finished my coffee and was getting ready to go back in the house when I heard some faint sweet humming coming from some place near me.
