I lived in Ranger, but nothing has been scary besides the fact that I live in Bobo Lyn trailer parks, and I hear noises in my bedroom at night. Submitted by anonymous

I grew up in Ranger at the old Broadway Motel that my parents owned. We saw ghosts from 1972 until we all left about 1990. The neighbors saw some of the same entities, notably a man with a wide hat. We had classic mist-form ghosts (like Caspar), a disembodied head, voices calling our names, and even a ghost cat seen by family friends and even out of state relatives. There were even odd out-of-place objects. A mechanical device was on the kitchen table one day. Nobody knew where it came from. The old neighbor identified it as a model a carburetor. One day a pair of scuffed old boots appeared on the back porch. My mother asked if they were mine. I didn't own any boots. I tried them. They fit. I kept them for years. I will never set foot in that haunted house ever again. I avoid going to Ranger at all. Scary childhood.

Comment by Mike: I would like to know more about the Broadway in Ranger - especially if the rooms still stood in 1990. Thanks.
