I'm 20 I've lived in Raymondville since I was 6 and I always heard ghost stories about this town. I was about 13 years old we lived on West Tampico, me and my friends were playing in the alley early that day and it started to get dark so they left. Me and my primo went to feed the dogs we had in the back yard tied up, as we did that we started to hear chains dragging and there were a lot of them. The dogs where not barking they were like scared little puppies, we ran and told my dad what we heard and he said we were being bad that's why, but it wasn't that.
So it got late, it was about 10 pm at night we were in the street playing and were we lived you can see down the side of the pressa all the way down to Canal Street and there I saw this man like figure with a hoodie coming towards us slowly. I didn't think anything of it, then I looked harder it it had no legs, it was floating in our direction. I called for my dad and as he was coming the figure went in to the dark by the time my dad got there and look, there was nothing he said the same thing again that we were being bad that's why. When he was stepping away to go into the house the figure came out of the dark coming at us slowly, we ran inside and told my dad it's still coming. He didn't believe us we weren't that scared, there's always people walking around on this side of town at night so we forgot about it. Me and my cousin started making kool-aid when we started to hear a baby cry in the house. There was no baby in the house my dad heard that and locked all the doors and told me I forgot to put up the lawn mower. Ran outside scared I got it and took it inside the garage and heard a loud screech in the sky, it's 11:30 pm. We started playing the ps2game not thinking anything of it, the lights started to turn of only in the room we were in. Not that scary, then we heard something jump on the roof. My dad was in the living room with us, we all heard the same thing. It's nothing he said, we kept playing the game then were I was sitting there was a big window.
1:30 we are still up playing, I started to hear tapping on the window, very light taps. I stopped the game and asked my dad if he can hear what I hear he said yes and he was serious. The tap got closer and closer to me, my dad ran and got his 45 and loaded it. I had never seen my dad scared before, he asked me to look out the big window to see what it was. Me scared I still did, when I looked out where there was light it turned to black smoke darker than black. I jumped back and he asked me what did I see and I told him the same thing then everything turned off. We went to bed 2:30 am and till this day I saw and heard stuff in this town.
I'm married now and my wife and I have heard tapping at the window on a ranch right out of town, she woke me up one night said she could hear tapping I told her don't worry baby it's nothing go back to sleep. Right after I said that a loud beast roar came from the roof and gave one big pound on the top where we were laying. I jumped out of bed and grabbed my two little babies and laid back down with my wife crying. I told her don't be scared just go to sleep it's nothing and we fell back to sleep thinking nothing of it.
I was living with my mom and she worked at 3:00 am she had to go to work she said one night she looked up and saw a 10nfoot black figure looking down from the top of the house, she moved out then she told me what she had seen.|
My opinion don't fear, it makes what ever it is worse. I have seen witches, spirits, hung in trees all of my stories are true I have no reason to lie.
