This story is from the late 1970s. I attended UTD at the time and lived with a couple of Taiwanese roommates. One of my roommates, a geophysicist, shared a story with me about sharing an apartment elsewhere in Richardson. He shared a two-bedroom apartment at the time with one other roommate. Early one morning at about 3 a.m. he returned home from a late lab session. Thirty minutes after he fell asleep he awoke to see a young woman in white looking

at him from the foot of his bed. After a moment she drifted up and disappeared at the convergence of the wall and ceiling opposite his bed. This startled

him so much he woke his roommate to share his story. Two weeks later he saw the apparition again.
Sometime later he attended a party of other students where he shared his story with friends. Some nearby students overheard him and shared with him their own experiences. They told him they understood because they once rented that apartment and saw the young woman. My roommate gave me the address of the apartment, and sometime later I visited that address.
