In the mid to late 90s I took up ghost hunting as a hobby along with some friends and my teenage nephew. I heard about the Rosharon Cemetery located west of town on FM 1462 and decided to check it out. My nephew and I foolishly decided one night to drive by the cemetery. I pulled over on the shoulder of the road, and we looked at the cemetery. The only light was from the moon and the headlights of my truck, and right in the middle of the cemetery was

a tall dark figure of a person wearing a hat. It looked like a statue. If you know this place, there is no statue like that there, so we promptly left
|
and decided to return during the day.
We returned a few days later in the late afternoon. Of course, there was no statue in the center of the cemetery, so we walked around. I reminded my nephew to respect the graves and be sure to walk around the plots and not over them. I came up to a new burial of a man a lot younger than I was. As I stared at his headstone, I felt sad to see a young man die so soon. Then I felt a hand on my right shoulder. I thought
