One night we stayed out kind of late and while deciding when we should go back to her house for dinner we heard a branch break. Not a twig. A branch. Much too loud to just be nature. So naturally we were frightened and went to her house right away.
The next few times we visited were rather quiet. We went back during winter right after it had snowed (the time we got a few snow days in a row! ). We brought snacks and planned to stay there all day

if possible.
Well when it got dark again (the top of the snow was crunchy from being a little old and when you stepped on it it cracked) we were just

listening to the wind when we heard the familiar cracking.
We looked up and saw a tall figure dressed in black if I remember correctly. Mortified we ran back to her house as fast as we could. We looked out of the window and saw a face peeking around the corner.
Except it didn't have a face at all. It was just white. I don't want to explain in detail exactly what it looks like because I don't want to remember. It was so scary. It haunts me to
