I lived in the once purple house on Jefferson sometime ago. I too would hear little noises such as someone walking across the wooden living room floor. The sound of the shower running when no one was there, and I am guessing if it is the same house from a previous post, the shower running might be due to the plumbing issue. the hot water heater is in the small pantry that also had what looked like the entrance to the crawl space under the house.One day while putting groceries away, I could have sworn I heard giggling echoing from the little pantry, but there was no one or anything there. If I remember the layout just right you have the living room when you enter the front door to the left, there is a small hallway with a front bedroom and to the left a linen shelf
