This happened at Stookey Park on E. Stenger. I was young and in love, and this happened several years ago. My mother kicked me out because I got in trouble too much. I dropped out of school, and the only person I listened to sometimes was my then-girlfriend. We were both sleeping when all of a sudden my girlfriend woke me up horrified. She was pointing

behind me, so I looked back and saw this enormous dog. It was like a German Shepherd but almost as tall as a great Dane. When I tried shooing it away it just stared at me and then walked away. I kept my eyes on it, so I made sure it wouldn't come back as my girlfriend was very afraid. I saw with my own eyes. It jumped into a moving car. The car stopped, and the driver got out. I ran over to help. The dog was just shaking and twitching. We called
