I grew up south of town on the Resacas and my grandpa would always tell us stories about the witch of El Ranchito. Supposedly she had children and they drowned in the Rio Grande. Years later she would wander up and down the river looking for her children. I was terrified of her when I was a kid and would not even sleep alone. I was in my room which is across the hall from my moms room and my new baby sister was about two weeks old. In the middle of the night I heard a baby crying so I got up to see if she was crying and she was sound asleep, when I went back into my room the cable was messed up and when I left I was watching ant farm. I was so scared because I was the only one awake in the whole house. Since then I don't go into her room. Submitted by Aly

My mom works at ninos inc. (big white building) when I was 6 years old there was bring your daughter to work day so she brought me. She told me to draw something so I went to look for some but when I was small I was easily distracted and very curious so I went up the stairs..
