My friends and I were walking one night thought the fields by now to be known as the community center and as we were walking we heard something say in ''sspps hey! '' in like a deep voices. It sounded like multiple voices at once.
Then after it said it three times we heard ''heeyyyy!!!! '' in a furious voice and when we started looking around we saw like this dark figure just rise up with looked to be red eyes. Then giggled.
We just ran like crazy

from the canal by the chapel all the way to blue town. Next morning my friends woke up with scratches and bruises. I didn't wake up with anything for

some reason. I think maybe because the whole time I was on my way I was praying to God to let no harm be done to me.
And I believe in God and they didn't.

I grew up in Santa Maria in the 60s and 70s.. There used to be some cuartales ( barracks ) used by general Zachary Taylor during Texas Mexico war.. It was used as a home by Delfino Silva and his family back then..
