On one such event there was several in attendance: it happened late in the evening I was still in high school then so being up late for us was something that most times would get us in trouble.
On this night it almost got my mother in trouble since my father is a very old fashioned man and sees it to be wrong for married women to leave in the middle of the night without explanation. My aunts had come to take my mother from the house so she could be

with them in something that was happening at grandfather's house or in the vicinity.
Mother looked worried.... As if tho she kind of knew what was

happening.... I thought grandfather was sick.... But when mother came back it was a different look on her face from what I expected. She was in disbelief.
Which is strange to me because my mother has her own set of pretty fantastic stories. I asked her repeatedly what had happened and she was reluctant to share.... I think I got on her nerves and she started to explain....
