It was around 2005 during hurricane Katrina I had just moved to Shepherd, Texas. I can't remember what street because it has now been 10 years, but I was living with my child's father and his mother. I kept seeing what looked like after my own research a ghost of a Spanish conquistador in the living room of this house. He was dressed like a soldier. He would just appear and look statuesque and then disappear. I never told anyone until one night we
were having dinner, and they said they him too. I was so relieved, but that is my shepherd ghost story.|

I live on Ragsdale Springs, and for the last 3 years we have seen a ghost in our house. He is harmless and seems to come out at 3 am. Our neighbor has one in his house, and she's an older lady he sees. A neighbor down the road has one and has been there for 20 years that I know of. The spring that runs through here is a trail for pioneers, and they come through for the water. They must have buried there loved ones here. Will up date as things happen.
