Comment by Diamond: I'm interested in Slaton history and haven't been able to find anything about a murdered boy or witches windmill. Can you please help me locate the story of the boy and where this windmill is located. Digarcia1174 @ gmail. com.

I remember visiting on a local windmill several years ago with a few friends. There's a story told about a young boy who was hanged from the windmill for stealing. Such a horrible death can lead to a very unhappy spirit.
