For the past 2 years my family and I have been renting a home in the greengate subdivision. Our property is located directly next to the woods no neighbors behind us... Which can provide for a very creepy atmosphere at night.
We have gone outside and heard strange sounds coming from the woods behind us. It sounds like a stange combination of animal and human howls. We've dismissed it as coyotes but it doesn't quote sound like just coyotes.
We've also have experienced scratching and knocking on all of our bedroom windows - not just light tiny scratches like bugs hitting the windows but loud long ear tickling scratching and fairly loud knocking.
My husband and I have gone as far as to throw our bedroom window open in an attempt to catch whatever is making the noise but nothing is ever there. One room in particular is virtually unused it stands alone from the rest of the house down at the end of a hall facing the back yard. This room is my daughter's bedroom but she is off at college. The room stays closed and left alone by us however often when we wake up the next morning the door will be wide open. We've checked to see if there were any reasons fot this but have not found anything logical as of yet.
