Ive lived in Spring for over 30 years. At a young age my friends and I would go out behind apartments off hirshfield and aldine Westfield to run around in the woods and jump in the creek. Some nights we would get brave and sneak out the house and meet there to hang out.
I would always have that feeling of being watched as we would hang out around the creek bed. We would run around the woods playing tag sometimes losing one another for a good

amount of time a friend of mine yells out asking where we were at from down the creek bed in a histerical voice.
We finally met up and he told us a

short older man was chasing him through the woods. Now I didn't believe him nor did anybody else we laughed it off and went home. About three months later we were at that same spot behind those apartments this time a bigger group many didn't know what had happened to my friend months back.
There was alcohol involved that night we were partying because the beginning of the summer. We all split up running into the dark laughing through the thick woods.
