They washed it off and did some investigating and found that the family that used to live there would hold some kind of séances with Ouija boards and such and also the room at one point in time was painted black.
My niece would run out of this room which was hers crying and screaming. She flat out refused to sleep in it because she said that the ''dark man'' would give her nightmares. As far as the woods behind the apartments and the

neighborhood itself we used to play paintball avidly back there.
One night me and another buddy of mine went back there and we didn't make it 20

feet in when we heard some kind of scream from a kid or a woman. It wasn't like an owl screech though it may have been but it was enough for he and I to quickly make our way out.
Those woods are still beautiful during the day but at night the overwhelming sense of fear is too much for me. Any how now I'm on a search for some kind of record through the Harris county land and tax records office or public library.
