I was at the park. After the Jesus people tour, me and my friends went across the bridge. I had feeling it was going to collapse on me. We went to the swings past the danger tape. There was no wind, and it started to move, so we went to my friend's car. We went near the rec hall. I looked back, and two of them were moving. When my brother picked me and my sister up I looked back at it, and it wasn't moving anymore.

My brother and I have done investigations at the city park, and we have EVPs/videos of people talking or saying not very nice things. The gazebo/awning area behind the rec hall is active. It's where I saw a white mist and had intelligent conversations with the spirits. There have been a few times I have captured growls/pig grunting noises from the area around the awnings and on the bridge. If you would like to know more, please feel free to reach out to me. My brother and I do investigations on the side as a hobby, and we decided to visit the city park in Stephenville. Little did we know that the park was incredibly haunted. Especially on the bridge we have footage of us getting k2 hits and captured several EVPs from a man saying he has been stabbed, it hurts, and he needs help. There also seems to be creatures roaming too? I have a few EVPs of pig grunting / growling sounds, and it only caught on the recorder and not the video footage.
On Halloween we did an investigation at the Rec Hall, and I have to say that place is extremely active. It's a heaven for EVPs. The most haunted locations in the Rec Hall is the bathrooms (men's and women's) and the dance hall on the second floor. I would love to investigate this place again if given the chance to return. The building is made of Limestone, so it has a lot of that residual residue keeping it alive. If you're interested, come visit one of our meetings for Erath County Paranormal facebook page!.
