When I was in junior high at Sweeny (late 90's) my mom, my sister, and I lived in my great grandmother's old house on Hackberry Street where Avenue B runs into it. My mom started telling us weird stuff was happening (something would pull at her clothes when she was in the kitchen, and her jewelry would be all arranged on the sink after she got out of the shower, etc. ) We made fun of her and used to play pranks on her.
Well, my mom used to work

in a bedroom in the back of the house, and one night she woke me and my sister up. She had heard kids laughing and feet running down the hall. She saw

a purple light shoot down the hall out of the corner of her eye, and she thought we were running up and down the hall playing another prank. She was mad, but we were fast asleep. I remember seeing her face go flush when she saw us rubbing our eyes and acting confused.
A few months later my sister's friend came over to stay the night, and she was drawn to that back bedroom for some reason. She wanted to sleep in there. My sister tried talking her
