If the deserted dishes still neatly stacked atop a small kitchen table or the photos of children hanging still hanging on the walls or the clothes still hanging in the closets haphazardly dusty from years of exposure, and the pentagram drawn on one of the outer walls of the 5-building compound don't give you the creeps; staying in the main house will.

along with barn chicken coops and an old windmill stand by the side of the highway - a lonely sight even for a ghost town.
But it isn't the structures

that frighten- it's the sometimes seen and oftentimes heard inhabitants. We've lived here in the main house for 5 months now - we're moving this week. We can't take any more.
There's no mistaking the 'knowing' you feel when the people who built this house lived on this property for generations say to you ''when I come there I won't go into any rooms by myself''; it makes you naturally ask why would you be so afraid of your own home .
