My cousins old house on 13th Street always had that ''creep'' factor. I can remember my cousin's 12th birthday party. We spent the night there. We were all in the living room on the floor, and we could see the kitchen. The floor was glowing blue with no light to illuminate it, and we could smell a woman perfume. Fast forward a couple of years and having other experiences, we decided to have a séance, so we asked for a sign. We kept thinking one of us was doing it, so we asked again, and the phone rang. When answered it was dead silent. It wasn't good enough, so we asked it to make the phone ring two times. It rang twice, but we asked for one more. I don't know if we made it mad or what, but the trash can slid across the kitchen as if kicked. We immediately stopped.
A decade later we've had two deaths in the house. One day I was asleep on a futon in the living room. I heard boots walking on the hardwood floor and heard someone getting change. Then I heard the boots walking my way, and they stopped. I heard someone say ''hey. '' Well, I just acted like I was asleep, and I heard ''hey!'' and felt someone gently shake my head. Once touched I felt weird. There was no way I was turning over. Then I heard the boots walk through the kitchen into the den. I then heard this person messing with the lock and chain lock and open the door to leave. When he'd left I looked at the time and it was 7:30am. Well, my cousins got up, and I asked where her boyfriend went. She said he was asleep. I explained why I'd asked, and they told me their grandpa did that routine every morning. The look on their faces were warranted because their grandpa had died three months prior.
Finally 2 years later things had gotten to the point where my oldest cousin wouldn't be alone in the house. If she was the only one home, she'd sit outside. They decided to sell the home after a 3rd death in the house. After the sale they cleaned out the house. He's got no lights by this point, and my cousin her friend and her sister went in to find some important papers. While in the house they got to talking about how mad their grandparents would be to know they sold the house, especially for only $17000. So the friend who was drunk said out loud ''hey, if y'all are mad, give me a sign. '' They heard a door shut. Then she said ''that's weak. Come on, let us know you're mad. '' They heard a very loud very demonic sound like a deep growl. They ran out the door, except the friend who dove out the window, all crying and never went back.
