your great grandfather! He died in your room, you know''. We were shocked. My dad said ''I thought he died at the hospital?'' She said ''no, he passed here, and we just told you that, so you wouldn't be scared. He kept calling out my grandma's name, but she had passed weeks earlier from a heart attack, and they couldn't tell him because he had dementia from severe cancer and age''.
My dad figured he was looking for her still. He went upstairs

with her picture and called to him. When he felt him in the room he explained what had happened. He asked him to go into the light that his wife was waiting

for him. He said I felt so silly, but it must have worked because we never saw him again. His name was Thomas, so not sure why I called him Jacob. Submitted by Andrea

After I married I moved from my family haunted house to one shared with my own family. We had a tall ''disappearing man'' as my kids called him and a little girl who cried a lot. I would run to check my kids only to find they were sound asleep or see the man walk into my kids' room, but he was never there when I ran in. We never felt scared, so it became the norm.
