Yes, there are many ghosts in Toyah Texas, one in particular is the one that makes a sudden sound like as if trying to howl through the rumbling of the train tracks, and all you can hear is ''chuck chuck chuckwhoo chuck chuck whoo'' and it makes the ground shake, and all you can think is that someone is there watching and waiting for the train to pass . And then the train is finally out of sight and it's like the calm before the storm!!! ' like

The last game at Toyah high by Daniel parks the morning sky lay thick and gray, upon the Texas plains. While northern winds commenced to blow, and mingled dust with rain. Throughout the day I'd venture out, rebuffed by cold, wet winds. But not too long and I'd return, warmed by the fire again. I've walked the streets of Toyah, Texas, so many times before. Drawn by the relics of her past, and of her railroad lore. But on this cold November eve, a strangeness filled the wind. And I moved closer to the fire, deciding to stay in. Around mid-night, I can't be sure, a mournful whistle blew. And from my slumber I awoke, this sound I surely knew. An old steam train not too far off, on this cold winter's night.
