One night about twenty years ago my boyfriend and I were driving from TX to CA, and we stopped in Van Horn for the night. We could not sleep and at about 3 a.m., so we decided to go get some snacks from the gas station. As we were driving back, we exited and saw two children probably three and four years old at the oldest walking alone in the dark. Since we were on a one-way road we had to make a u-turn at the bridge to get back on the highway and exit.

By the time we did that, they were gone. It couldn't have taken more than two minutes, and they were nowhere to be found. There was literally nowhere

In the mid to late 1990s I took a spontaneous trip with my daughter. We left East Texas around 2 p.m. and arrived in Van Horn around 8 p.m. I hadn't had much sleep and was exhausted already, and of course driving the long distance was more exhausting. We checked into a Motel 6. I couldn't wait to get to sleep. Our room had two beds. I was so ready to sprawl out on my bed. My daughter kept insisting she wanted to sleep in my bed. I finally gave in.
We turn the lights off, and in the corner of the room by the bathroom sink was a figure. The figure appeared to be glowing green and was floating in one spot. To me, it looked like a woman's figure. She had no arms and no legs. Her torso was very robust. Her head had very long straight hair. Her face looked very emaciated, mostly like a skull and didn't have any eyelids. Her mouth kept moving as if she was screaming, but I heard no sound.
