The middle school in Van feels like it's haunted. Wherever you are you always feel like someone is watching you. Weird things happen to like clocks moving or noises.

Out of Van there is what is called Cowboy Cemetery off the road down a little road. Lots of people buried there, mostly men soldiers from the Civil War. They just have big rocks for markers but the ones with rank have a headstone.

As you wander among the graves there will be cold spots in mid August. Talking to an old man along that road he told us that there were many more buried up there but they didn't even have a rock for a marker.
At times a cool breeze will blow across your face; yet no leaves are moving in the trees. It's a rocky hill place, very sad lonely place. B.L.
