I was on the couch watching a Rangers game when she suddenly screamed, ran up the hall, and jumped on me on the couch screaming incoherently that something had just laid down in the bed with her. Our relationship ended shortly after that, and so did the haunting. Once she and I broke up everything stopped. For seven years I lived with something in a house that was the source of phenomenon that had no explanation. It was over just as quick as it had begun.

I lived in Weatherford across the highway from Wal-Mart. For one I would hear dishes being moved around a lot. Then one time my boyfriend was at work, and I heard him call for me in a frantic manner, ''Kayla! Babe!'' It was clear as day. I ran into the living room and even ran outside looking around the house. He was not there. I called, and he thought I was hearing stuff, but I know what I heard.
