I've read a bunch of ridiculous mess about burning children. One tale stated that children were burned up in the basement. I attended that school. There was no basement in the school. After it closed on May 1966 because of integration some white thugs set it on fire. If these people are hearing voices, it's because they are drunk or high. Over the years there have been incidents of vandalism at the cemetery. My brother and two nephews visited there one

When I was 16 I attended pine tree High School and had a close group of friends I hung around. One weekend we all got together on a Halloween night to go drink, and we have heard the legend of Shiloh. We decided to go out there. We were just curious to see if we could see any ghost while we were drinking. Two of my friends walked up to the burned school, and me and the others stayed back and were drinking and talking in the bed of the truck.
All of a sudden I heard voices like kids screaming and voices whispering. I asked the others if they heard what I could hear without telling them what I heard. They said yes and all agreed they heard kids screaming and whispers. Then we looked around and could see shadows.
