There once was a story long ago of an Indian and his golden beads they say his name was redwing while passing through this territory he came across this Spanish soldier carrying a small amount of gold he killed the soldier and took his gold, and horse he melted the gold and made some beads he put the beads in a small pouch he made out of the intestine of a deer and a piece of his own hair he placed the small pouch in a saddlebag on the horse belonging to
the dead soldier and headed back to camp when he got there he reached into the saddlebag only to find it empty the saddlebag had came apart at the seam
every once in a while when you are rock hunting late in the even evening you can here someone hollering at you some believe it is redwings spirit searching for his golden beads.
