When I was young my mother and I volunteered to entertain retirement homes with classic movies on VHS tapes. (yes this was a while back VHS was the new sensation.) I remember elderly couples telling stories about a ghost that wonders around the 800 block of Indiana Ave. downtown at night. He was run over leaving a bar drunk and still wonders around as a drunken spirit at night. He even would visit any stores or restaurants still open. Do you know anything about this?.

It all started back in 1998. My sister and I stayed at home while our parents left for a three day vacation. We didn't want to stay in our own bedroom so we stayed in our parents room downstairs. Well I went all around house made sure all the windows were locked including garage door and all the doors in the house.

Well we put chairs under the handles of all the doors. About 1130 pm we heard some noises and went and got the gun. We thought someone was breaking in. We called our neighbor from across the street and he said all looks good.
We went back asleep and about 1 am I heard it again, woke my sister up and opened our door. I turn on the light gun drawn. We found all our doors and windows were open including garage, they were locked inside with a lock.
All the chairs were in the living room in a circle so we high tailed it back in the room. About 20 mins later open the door and everything was back the way we first put it. When our parents came home they said a couple of people died a long time ago before anything was built on the land.
