Parkway Grill is on Southwest Parkway. I've been there a lot and it's just a nice sports bar with good food but there is a rumor that the original owner of the restaurant at that location was going bankrupt so he committed suicide in the back of the restaurant in the office area.

When I heard this rumor I knew a woman that worked as a waitress so I asked her. She very quietly replied that she hadn't ever seen anything herself but there were a lot of rumors from everyone that worked there.

She added that she refused to be there at night by herself especially in the back kitchen and office area.

Comment by Nanci: It was the manager of the Pelican Restaurant who shot and killed himself in the office - the book keeper found him the next morning. It was the Pelican before it was Parkway Grill and that happened in the early 1980s.
