group of hippies who had jumped from the rail bridge in protest of the Vietnam War perhaps 20-25 years earlier. Unfortunately, I left Wichita Falls for greener pastures soon thereafter and haven't been able to return to do any newspaper archive research.
However, I have noticed a cyclical pattern to ghost sightings at large. Thus the following questions:
Did a group of Hippies indeed commit protest suicide off the rail bridge? If so,

on what date? Are their photos available? Has anyone else seen these 5? Can anyone else visit the site on the reported date of their suicide? Was

the baby theirs or the victim of another young mother facing an uncertain future?
