I lived in Wickett and didn't believe in ghosts but I saw and heard a sort of old woman drift past the doorway from my living room. She looked at me like she didn't know I was there and sounded like the classic ghosts sound. I told my girlfriend but didn't tell what she looked like and if she sees her describe her to me. About a month later she told me she was in kitchen at the sink where the doorway is and looked in a mirror above the sink and an old woman

was standing behind her as I described. She had no idea I saw an old woman. She turned around and she was gone. I believe the ghosts got upset if the

house was messy. I later rented the house and told the renter about it. He didn't believe me. After renting the house for a few years he now has different beliefs. He kept the house messy, yes he went crazy pretty much. I want to ask the owner now if they have encountered her.

Comment by Tavia: There is a tale of Helen G. One says she died hitting her head on the furnace in the girls' bathroom. Another is believed that she was hit on her way to school. I went to ''Gensler Elementary'' in Wickett, TX and have lived one block away my whole life. It stands today the same as when my grandma remembers it. Same furnace and everything. Throughout my time growing up, I remember an old man in the closet areas throughout the whole city. Every house I ever stayed at in Wickett.
