My deaf friend's wife told me that her mobile home in AJ near Superstition Mt is haunted. One time at dusk she was washing dishes, and she saw through her window an Apache man's head with long black hair with headband floating. He had no body. She almost faint and screamed. Her husband ran out of home looking for him. Sometimes the wife hear noises. They still live there. Submitted by Susan

An old native to AZ. Superstition mountains are a bevy of paranormal activity from wormholes to wondering vortexes and human to inhuman spirits. There's a reason the Apache never lived inside superstition. They always believed that's where the nature spirits dwell. To this day people still go missing wandering through the mountains even on known and well marked trails. They stopped reporting bodies being found mutilated years back after people started really talking about the paranormal. I was extremely against the proposition over 10 years ago that let people build houses on the side of the mountain. They don't know what they're getting into, and all they are doing is making the nature entities there angry.

A lot of death have occurred over the centuries around that area which is most of AJ and ''East Mesa'' (which growing up was part of AJ.) Some parts calling themselves east Mesa now was considered desert or AJ in the 70s and 80s had some murders that had heavy satanic undertones with the bodies. The canal locks are the areas where most of them took place or where the bodies were positioned ritualistically. They didn't (and still don't) like to talk about it or even admit to those crimes.
Once you do research of that whole superstition mountain area you'll find a whole other history to AJ and what we call now East Mesa. Growing up we used to talk about how weird things feel and happen in AJ and Casa Grande and were quite surprised on how everything took off after the 1991 influx of population which started the housing boom over here.
But like I said check the history of the place. Submitted by Dawn
