I have lived in Buckeye all my life and have witnessed a lot of strange stuff. When I was a child in the late 60's and 70's my family and I lived in a place called camp 29, it was located north of Buckeye on Broadway Rd. It was a group of small cabins, actually a few of them have been relocated to Apache road right past the railroad tracks.
Before I was born in the 50's a young woman was murdered in one of the cabins, well I was about 5 years old and I was playing outside around 6 pm in the evening and I saw a young woman in a long skirt that looked old like something they would wear in an old 50's era movie and she was walking around crying.

I got scared because she was coming toward me and stood up but when I went to go get my mother she had walked past our place and disappeared. I saw her many times until we moved from there in the late 70's and she would always come in the same direction crying very loudly and looking back and forth I found out later that our cabin was the one she was murdered in and was looking for her sister and mother.

Apparently she had been murdered while her family was at the Roxy Theater in the town.

Comment by Sherry: My mom and aunt lived in that 3rd house at the camp you are talking about. It happened to them; strange noises, water dripping, no water. Ghosts and creepy things happened, they moved out real fast, it is true.
