My husband and I were traveling through Bylas when, after several miles of passing Bylas, I noticed a black figure on a hillside not far from the road. I wasn't sure what it was from afar, but as we got closer I was able to make out a man dressed in a black trench coat, a black cowboy hat, and what seemed like black gloves on his hands. His back was towards the highway, so I didn't see his face. As we passed this figure I turned to my husband and asked

him if he had seen this person to which he replied he hadn't.
I glanced back and could see he was still standing in the same spot. Since he hadn't

moved as we passed him I kinda thought it might have been a statue. I didn't think much about it as we continued towards our destination. The next day my curiosity got the best of me when I couldn't get the image of this figure out of my head. I googled statues of black cowboys with no luck. I don't know why, but I googled ghosts of cowboys wearing black. What I read next made the hairs on my arms stand up and chills ran down my back. I had never
