I live in one of the old houses in the Historic District of Clarkdale. The houses in this neighborhood were built for the managers of the smelter that served the Jerome mines. My house has been added on to since it was first built in 1948 (according to tax records) and we, the 2nd owners, are doing a small remodel, as time and money allow. We have been told by many that when you DO remodel, you stir things up in the ghost world. Here are a few things

that we have exhibited since moving into and eventually purchasing our home 3 years ago:
-We have heard and seen kitchen/bathroom cupboards open
|
and close, many found open first thing in the morning.
-Cold breezes come across as we sit in the living room which is in the original part of the house.
-The sound of a cat meowing, as if it is right at your feet, but no cats around.
-The sound of something falling and hitting the tile floor in the laundry room, yet no laundry being washed/dried.
- The most bizarre: Coming home one evening and my daughter goes in to use the bathroom that
