In October of 2018 I put my grandparents' house up for sale when the activity started getting really out of control. We would be all in our room, settling down for the night, and we would hear the back door slam. One night after its slamming, I got up to check it to make sure that it was locked. The security system

was on. The deadbolt is locked, and the bottom door was locked.

We lived in a relatively new home for four years located in Anthem at Merrill Ranch in Florence, AZ. We had encounters the entire time we lived there. Soon after moving into our home my teen daughter who slept upstairs alone started complaining that she was being woken from her sleep at night because something was shaking her bed. She also swore someone was sitting on her bed and then lying down next to her. She also reported hearing someone whispering in her ear. One day she said she saw a short woman looking into her room from the hallway. I thought my daughter was watching too many paranormal TV shows and told her it was her imagination because the home was new, and it couldn't be haunted.
Then I started hearing something knocking on my bedroom wall right behind my bed. This happened only on the nights my husband was at work. There was no plausible explanation for the knocking. A while after the frequent knocking started I was home alone and had left my bedroom door open. I would usually keep it shut when I went to bed. I heard a shuffling noise in the entryway of my bedroom door. I sat up to see what was making the noise, and I saw a dark shadow-like figure of a man peering into my bedroom. Thankfully we moved and have had no experiences at all in our new home that is located in the same neighborhood.
