I've had a few unsettling experiences in Fountain Hills over the years. My husband and I grew up in the area and still continue to see things that we simply cannot explain whenever we visit our parents in this small town. One of the first notable things I experienced here was when I was in college. My friend and I took a drive through town in some of the neighborhoods with the windows down considering there was not much to do around here when you

I believe we were on Bainbridge Avenue. A bicyclist came out of nowhere and quite literally appeared at the right corner of my car.

Considering how close he was to the car, I should've realistically hit him. I slammed on my brakes, and my friend and I screamed thinking we had hit the poor guy. We jumped out of the car expecting to see him, but there was nobody there. I wanted to try and find this person to at least make sure my car hadn't come into contact with him. There was nobody on the road. I later found out that several locals have also encountered the ghostly figure of a bicyclist
