My wife and I were on our way to Globe and missed the turn off. We turned around outside of Globe past the San Carlos sign. It was 5am when I turned out to the right side of the road and then made a wide turn to the left to head back to Globe.
My wife was looking up directions on her phone and we had the light on in the highlander. After about 2 min I shut the light off and began to pull out... I was waiting for one car on the road to pass me heading

towards Globe when It passed me I saw an old man wearing a dirty brown shirt standing 2 ft from my SUV.... I did a double take and still saw him.

looked like he had his hands raised like... ''help me'' or ''what are you doing''... Either way... Freaked out and pulled out very fast.. I was pulling a boat too.. We checked the location again on our way back to phoenix and there are no houses close by.... I believe he may have been a miner... I think it was a real ghost.... Very freaked out...STILL.
