We moved to Arizona in 2005 from California. My son, who was 32 at the time, has always seen spirits ever since he was a child. We now live in the Magic Ranch Community off Hunt Hwy. Around 11:00 pm one night my son was outside in our Driveway taking a smoke. He said he heard loud marching coming down the street. He thought it was someone out for a nightly stroll, walking very hard. When the man started getting closer to my son, my son spoke to him and said ''good evening,'' but when he examined him closer, he said he could see right through him. He was short and stout. He had a very bloated ugly face and was wearing some type of amour and a weird helmet. My son said he didn't look like he was from this era. My son took off and ran in the house upstairs where I was at the computer. He scared me, telling me about this ghost solider he saw. All I could ask him was did he lock the front door. Stupid question, he said ''no, Mom I invited him in he's downstairs. '' With all kidding aside, I knew what he had seen was real. He had a look of fear on his face.
Later he met some friends that lived in the area a little longer than we did and was told there is a hard walking solider with a bloated face that walks the Magic Ranch Estates late at night. I would like to know if anyone else has seen him. By the way, my son says when he spoke to him, he didn't say anything. He didn't even acknowledge my son. He just looked straight ahead and kept on marching hard. Sounds like a residual haunting to me.

Will someone explain to me why I see a black figure of a man in my house? I live in San Tan Valley and I just want to know if there was someone who died or lived there before me.

Comment by Moon dancer: That black shadow is a bad spirit, I have seen one myself in the past.
