My grandpa help build Hughes & Ganz, it was a feedery (cows). Previously beforehand it was an Indian burial ground. And as they dug to add poles to fence in the cows they kept finding human bones. There were so many strange things that always happened there.
Voices mumbling, speaking in their native language, lights turning on off. We all wonder what happened after they sold the land and started building all those stick homes out there. It used to be Rittenhouse Rd (they changed the name) north of Skyline east of Gary Rd.
Any stories!! We would love to hear them!.

Comment by Dawn: Good to see there's someone who knows the history of that place. Queen Creek is relatively new. Building started in the late 90s out there. Haven't been that way for over a decade and remember that Street.
Nice to know they changed the name. Probably for the reason you mentioned. Not the first and won't be the last discovering native burial grounds and getting hushed up. Same thing happened when the 101 was being built on the Pima reservation starting at mckellips.
They only reported pottery shards enough for archaeologists to come in.... And .... A few days later.... Nothing. Many people thought that was just too fishy. That area has old history before most of it was thought of just boonies or bfe while I was growing up in the valley.
It was also a good spot for disposing a body or just killing right there. A lot of bad juju out there. Just research the history of that area.

One night like every night I watch TV then go to bed. Well I woke up middle of night and looked at my bedroom door and a Native American in a head dress was standing just looking at me.. It was as real as anything, I didn't feel weird or get freaked out, it seemed like he was watching over me..
I don't know what it meant but I think he's was good and peaceful..
