While on vacation traveling west on Route 66 heading to California we decided to stop in Seligman to grab a bite to eat and use the rest rooms. The town appeared to be ''Closed up. '' Nothing was open, and there was not a soul in sight. I noticed an old jail cell, and the front door was open. I wanted to take a look inside. I pulled back the door and peered inside. It was a jail cell alright, and the 10x10 room was divided in half by a row of about

twenty bars that extended from the floor to ceiling. There were a few old (antique) things inside the room like a stool, which was inside the cell on

the back half of the room. There were also a small pot belly stove, a small desk to the right, and a very old wooden chandelier hanging from the ceiling. Since no one was around I decided to take a photo. My husband held the door open the best he could through the fierce wind that had suddenly picked up. He told me there was a large dirt devil just about to hit us. We entered inside the tiny room and stayed there until the dirt devil passed. He then held
