Comment by Danny: It's on Ogilby Road. It happened to a high school friend and her mom on the way back to Blythe from Yuma. They actually drove off the road. That's how scared they got.
Comment by Dan: I forgot on my comment above. It was a female in white that my friend, and her mom saw not a male. They saw her on the side of the road at night, but once they passed her she appeared in the middle of the road up ahead making my friend drive off the road. They looked around, but she had disappeared. They got out of there fast. Ogilby can be scary at night! This was back in 1998.

I live in Winterhaven right next to Yuma, as a kid I heard a lot as well as saw a lot. One night I was walking home from the downtown area. As I approached the ocean to ocean bridge, the bridge at this time was still closed so it wasn't lit up at all. Although a foul stench of death came upon me I covered my nose and walked on, but then I heard a faint voice call out ''hey come here'' instant chills slithered throughout my body. Just then I heard the sound of metal rub against metal across the bridge, I saw a dark figure following me so I started to walk faster and faster, as I walked on I would look back and see how far the person was from me. They seemed to get closer and closer but walking at a very slow pace, just then I looked again and it was gone...

Comment by Wicca Dreamers Mary: You know a man was run over by a train right there... Well it was on the Cali side right behind that old adobe building... The top part of his body was cut off... It was terrible at the time... This was back in the late 70s.
