I grew up in Berthoud and lived in a house near Berthoud Elementary School. I was in about 7th grade when this happened. I was downstairs playing games on the computer, and both my parents were upstairs working. I all of a sudden heard them drop everything and come rushing down the stairs asking if I was okay. They both said they heard a murderous screech coming from the basement. I heard absolutely nothing. I was pretty scared!
After that

I started noticing a very heavy presence whenever I walked up or down the stairs. I would sometimes hear what would sound like a man letting out a loud
|
sigh while walking in a certain part of the kitchen. My dog would sometimes start barking at nothing which was odd because she was old and not very vocal. I moved out of there probably 6 or 7 years ago now, but I wonder if the current owners have witnessed anything.

Lived in the 545 9th Street home across from the junior high from 1975 to 1987. I lived there from birth until 13 years of age. During that time, my brothers and I have experience strange happenings and feelings.
