It did kind of freak me out because they both died literally in this house. And there's this closet right under my staircase that I didn't really know about until he showed us and there was a massive axe in there.
He said his parents didn't own an axe and no one had been in the house since it went up for sale. So no one knew how it got there.

Considering Broomfield is a modern site (town was started in the late 1950's as a bunch of tailors where the crew building the Boulder/denver turnpike lived) cannot see how it's been around long enough to gather ghosts of any sort.

The lights in the center of the Old Possum bookstore often flicker, and the presence of a woman is often felt as though she is standing behind you watching over your shoulder. She is a kind spirit to people she likes in the store, but has been known to ''drop'' books from various shelves where no one is standing.
Often you will see movement between the main room and the children's area as though a shadow is passing when no one is present. Many employees feel her and welcome her though at times they will ask her to stop for awhile.
