My brother Jeff committed suicide near a creek in Buena Vista, Co on December 29, 1975. Since then various people have said that he has visited them.

This happened back when I was in seventh grade. I took a school field trip to Buena Vista to stay at some cabins with my class. There were many activities to do: canoeing, archery, even a night hike. On this night hike we went on a trail that was behind the campsite. We did many calming things on this hike such as a quiet session where we all closed our eyes and held hands. I had my eyes closed for maybe thirty seconds when I had an insatiable need to open them.

I opened my eyes and looked around my surroundings. It was very pretty and picturesque -- the pine trees all around us, the stars bright in the sky, the moonshine dimly lighting the surrounding trees. As I slowly addressed my surroundings, I saw what seemed to be a figure in the distance swiftly duck behind a tree.
I assumed it was our hike guide because she said that she loved the woods, so I just thought that she went off to look at a tree or something. I soon looked over, and she was standing nowhere near the direction the figure was in.
I looked back and saw nothing. I just brushed it off as me seeing things. We continued our hike and had a really cool experience. On our way back to the cabins. I was in a line with my friends to where we could all talk to each other. I was talking to one friend; let's call him Cade. My other friend was standing on the other side of me; let's call her Ally.
