We are the first owners of the home we ''built'' in 2008 in one of the subdivisions in the meadows. A about 6 months after we moved in a lot of odd things started happening. On more than one occasion my husband woke up in he middle of the night hearing footsteps in our unfinished basement.
Our dogs were growling too. My husband was so alarmed that he took the gun we keep in the nightstand and told me to follow him with the phone and get ready to dial 911. Looking back this was really stupid but when my husband got down to the basement of course no one was there on any of the occasions.

We wrote it off as the house settling. On another occasion my husband and I had stayed up late bbqing on a summer night and headed upstairs at around midnight. We were in our bedoroom getting ready for bed and heard a huge crash on the first floor like someone had broken in and had dropped something.

With all of the weird things that had been happening in our house my husband joked that he was going to see ''who or what'' did that and went downstairs again with his gun and told me to get the phone and be prepared to dial 911.
Again probably stupid. But this time when we got downstairs a 5 or 6 lb framed photo in our stair well had fallen off the wall. It was laying at the bottom of our stairs on the hardwood floor almost completely undamaged except for a slight chip in the corner wood.
What was odd though was that it had left a hole in he dry wall at the bottom of the stairs as big as a fist approxamatly 3 feet off of the ground. To make this type of hole in the wall the framed picture had to have almost shot straight through the air and hit the wall.
