There's a figure in all black hoodie and pants that me and my friend saw in Palmer Lake during middle school. I really had forgotten about it until last year when I was turning at the Gleneagle's all-way stop. I saw it right outside the window as we turned. I then told my boyfriend about it who I thought would pick on me, but he just told me about how a couple of years before he had been walking towards Baptist and something like I described ran through him. He said it felt like his heart froze. It was almost like he felt death for a split second.

There have been a few eerie spottings in the ponds at the base of the Northgate community. Several times you can hear whistling and singing late at night. There are occasionally spottings of a Native American tribes man wandering around the pond.

Another time I personally saw a little girl in a pink dress crying around the pond, but as I approached she ran and jumped into the pond. She never resurfaced. She was wearing a 19th century Victorian dress.
That area is surely haunted.

Comment by Ed: I used to live in Northgate Highlands which is right next to this pond. We had many strange things happen in our house. Many sightings of a little girl and shadow outlines of people. One night my son was in the kitchen and virtually saw a cup that was on the counter fly across the kitchen by itself like it had been hit by someone.
My daughter saw a little girl many times and would come to my room at night scared to death and unable to breathe.
